The Rose Hotel joins in 125th birthday celebration for downtown Pleasanton
It’s summer! And we’re having a party! It’s Pleasanton’s birthday – the 125th, to be exact.
So, this is going to be such a terrific party. Seriously. The whole town is getting involved.
Okay – it’s really our city and our city’s business community – our Downtown Pleasanton Association and the Chamber of Commerce and many others throughout town have been having special events all summer.
But on Aug. 2, this town is going to rock!
Our City folks and the Downtown Pleasanton Association will take over Wayside and Dellucci parks and surrounding streets as part of the celebration.
We’ll have an afternoon-evening long concert, dozens of street booths and displays – and, of course, food fit for a party.
City Council is expected to be there in force, and town favorite band, Public Eye, will perform for two whole hours – from 6 to 8 p.m.
We have lots to celebrate!
Pleasanton has been home to fine families and successful businesses for 125 years.
There’s been a Rose Hotel on Main Street through most of those years. In fact, during this event, we’re hosting a display of historic town photos. (Even if you don’t stay with us, stop in and take a look. They’re fascinating – and you might even spot the original Rose Hotel in one or two.)
We’re one of America’s top 20 places to live: we work hard, we play hard – and our celebrations are something to write home about!
Sound like fun? Come join us! We have rooms available and we’d be delighted to see you. (Well, we have some rooms available. Don’t wait around!)
Just give us a call and ask what time the party starts. We’ll have a fine rate and a great room just for you. Reach us by emailing info@RoseHotel.net, calling (925) 846-8802, or stopping by to visit at 807 Main St., Pleasanton, CA 94566.
