In addition to football, the Tri-Valley has many happenings to offer for February. Here are some of the most exciting events taking place in February 2026 in the Tri-Valley.

New year, new wine

The Sauvignon Blanc Release and Cheese Pairing Party takes place at Wood Family Vineyards in Livermore on Sunday, Feb. 1 from 12 to 4:30 p.m. Wood Family Vineyards will debut their 2025 Sauvignon Blanc as part of a six-wine tasting flight, featuring four pairings with artisan cheeses carefully selected for the occasion. Mystery of chocolate

Chocoholics will enjoy Unfiltered: Cacao to Confection with Larissa Milano on Thursday, Feb. 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Omega Road Winery in Livermore. Tickets are $25 per person on the Omega Road Winery website and include one glass of wine.

Sweetheart opportunities

The Tri-Valley is also a romantic spot to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and the area has numerous opportunities to commemorate the holiday. Begin your Valentine’s Day trip with the Valentine’s Wine Glass Painting Experience at Murrieta’s Well in Livermore on Thursday, Feb. 12. From 6 to 8 p.m., attendees will enjoy a guided session to paint Valentine’s Day-inspired wine glasses and create handmade greeting cards while enjoying a glass of wine and charcuterie. Tickets are $75 and available on the Murrieta’s Well website.

For the ladies

If you’re a woman looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your favorite girlfriends, the Wente x Lesley Evers Galentine's Day Fashion Show takes place Thursday, Feb. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wente Family Vineyards in Livermore. You’ll indulge in numerous types of wine perfectly paired with small bites, with a dessert and chocolate pairing as the final course. Tickets are $65 per person and available on the Wente Family Vineyards website.

Spend a romantic afternoon in a serene setting with Valentine’s in the Vines at McGrail Winery in Livermore. In one of two Saturday, Feb. 14 sessions from 12 to 2 p.m. or 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., you’ll experience five special chocolate and wine pairings, complete with a mood set by candles and live music. For a special Valentine’s Day dinner, there are three options from 6 to 9 p.m., all featuring their own flair: the Valentine’s Prime Rib Dinner at Murrieta’s Well, the Valentine's Aphrodisiac Dinner at The Purple Orchid Resort & Spa in Livermore and the Valentine's Wine Pairing Dinner at Wood Family Vineyards. Family fun

Visitors looking for entertainment will find it at the CYT Seussical JR, taking place at various times on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 19 for a two-night run at Livermore’s Bankhead Theater.
