Our business and leisure travelers alike have a lot at stake when it comes to the U.S. and world economies. So do we. One of industries hit hardest by economic downturns is the hotel business, and sometimes we’re an early indicator that trouble is brewing. Given this shared interest, we are very pleased to report that 2014 was a record year for occupancy at The Rose Hotel. What’s more, PKF Consulting, a hospitality industry research firm, is forecasting more good times ahead. That almost certainly means good tidings for the economy as well. But the financials are only part of the story at our hotel. In addition to the quantitative, we pay a lot of attention to the qualitative.
