Letters from our guests, Vol. 3
One of the things we value most at The Rose Hotel is the Guest Comment Card that we make available for our visitors to fill out. Many of them do, and we’re happy to say the vast majority of comments we receive are extremely positive.
As we do every few weeks, this week we would like to share our guest feedback to give you a more intimate portrait of The Rose Hotel. This, we believe, will keep you better in tune with our hotel, our services, and the many valued guests we host.
We begin with a note from Fritz E., a former Livermore, California resident who now lives in San Diego. He wrote, My home away from. Accommodations are always top notch. Truly exceptional!
Malcolm C. said, Attention to detail is exceptional. Keep everything as is.
Albert C. rated his stay as “exceptional” and added, You have a terrific touch for the small details that make the stay a very pleasant one. You are doing great work in keeping your guests happy.
Brian P., who spent his honeymoon at The Rose Hotel, summarized his experience this way: Beautiful hotel with very nice accommodations. I was very happy with my stay.
Leslie D., who stayed at The Rose to attend a wedding, said, All the employees were great! We didn’t want to leave. [General Manager] Phylis [Grisham] made us feel so comfortable.
We loved the personal touches, said Vasily and Teri K. We will recommend The Rose to relatives and friends as a relaxing enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
Another guest wrote, The room was extremely comfortable and the amenities classy. I … like the old photographs of downtown Pleasanton hung on the walls. The lighting in the room was great. Thank you for providing instruction cards for coffee and TV/music.
You offer anything anyone could want or need! Loren W. effused. Thank you for donating to the Kiwanis. I was impressed by what you do for our military personnel.
Dan and Gail W. left us with these sentiments: The hotel is the best we’ve ever stayed in because of its pristine condition and all the comforts of home.

We found out about The Rose Hotel through our daughter and son-in-law, who spent their wedding night with you! They had such a great experience and raved about their room, that we decided to do a “get-away” night at The Rose the following year! We have come back several times for get-aways since! We don’t have to drive too far and get to stay in a very welcoming environment with sumptuous accommodations and can enjoy Pleasanton’s main street shops and restaurants.
It is gratifying to receive a comment such as the above. I’ll pass it along to the people that make it happen every day, i.e. Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast and Bar Services, and Front Desk Staff. Pls come back to see us soon. TW
