‘Have a safe trip’ more than a cliché at Rose Hotel
Personal security is one of the issues of our day.
It takes on heightened concern when traveling – especially to new places.
Unfortunately, security concerns don’t vanish as soon as you check into your hotel room. Stories about crime in and around hotels abound.
That’s why the Rose Hotel has made extensive efforts that ensure our guests are secure and enjoying peace of mind.
For starters, the Rose Hotel is blessed by its geography. Being located in Pleasanton, California, one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s safest communities, is a major advantage. Add to that our location on historic Main Street, which is heavily trafficked by local residents, visitors and Pleasanton police officers.
It doesn’t stop there. The fact that we are a boutique hotel and a relatively small property consisting of 38 rooms, lends itself to close observation by staff members. Also consider:
- Arriving guests have just a short walk to the front desk from street-level, lighted, covered parking
- Guest room doors open to inside hallways, rather than the outdoors
- The hotel’s exterior doors automatically lock by 11p.m.
- Motion alarms protect all entrances
- Live camera surveillance is used throughout the hotel and the images are recorded for later investigation in the rare event anything suspicious has taken place
- The front desk is staffed around the clock, seven days a week
The experience we’re trying to create through our security and customer service efforts were nicely summarized in this letter from Kevin Bollman, an executive with Indiana Wholesale Wine & Liquor. After staying at the Rose Hotel earlier this month, Mr. Bollman kindly wrote:
I recently stayed in the Rose Hotel. What an amazing experience. The Rose is a quaint, clean and very comfortable hotel. I usually don’t relax well in hotels, but felt very much at home there. And the quaint downtown Pleasanton was a nice surprise. I would love to stay there again sometime and will definitely tell my friends and colleagues. Also, I got to meet Mr. (John) Madden and spoke with him for 30 minutes. Quite a thrill for me.
We are confident your experience will be just as amazing and memorable. The Rose Hotel looks forward to hosting you soon. Just click the Online Reservations link on the navigation bar at the top of this page, or call our front desk at (800) 843-9540.
