Other than the geographic destination, travel is all about amenities. Amenities differentiate comfort from discomfort, pleasure from aggravation.
So it was with no small measure of pride that The Rose Hotel learned that it went 10-for-10 on Hotels.com’s list of travelers’ most desired in-room amenities, and 8-for-10 on Hotel.com’s list of the most desired in-hotel amenities. Even of the two in-hotel amenities we are missing, we have more than adequate alternatives for our guests.
More on that in a moment.
First, let’s take a look at the top 10 in-room amenities, according to the Hotels.com survey, based on the input of 1,000 travelers from around the world.
To learn more about our in-room amenities, check out our Amenities page.
Regarding in-hotel amenities, the survey’s results were as follows.
Out of that list, the only amenities we are missing is a restaurant and swimming pool. As mentioned earlier, though, The Rose has perfectly good alternatives for both of these amenities.
With regard to a restaurant, The Rose Hotel is blessed by its location on historic Main Street in downtown Pleasanton, Calif., which has dozens of excellent restaurants within a few-minute walk. Those restaurants range from an inexpensive to moderately expensive, with cuisines ranging from Italian, sushi, Vietnamese and steakhouses to Mexican, continental and seafood establishments.
Though we don’t have a swimming pool on the premises, we offer our guests passes to nearby
ClubSport, one of the finest health clubs in the Bay Area. ClubSport has an outdoor aquatics center for swimmers, as well as indoor tennis and basketball courts, group exercise classes, wellness seminars, nutrition counseling, spa and café, among many other options.
Suffice it to say we are proud of the large complement and quality of amenities we offer our guests at The Rose Hotel. We know your travels have just begun when you arrive at our check-in desk, and we’re committed to making sure your stay with us is pleasurable and memorable.
