It’s that time again when we share with our readers the remarks our clientele leaves on our Guest Comment Cards.
It’s one of the things we value most at The Rose Hotel, and we’re happy to say the vast majority of comments we receive are positive.
This week we share some of that guest feedback, as we occasionally do, to give you a more intimate sense of The Rose Hotel and the people that frequent our establishment.
Here are some of the handwritten comments we’ve received from our Guest Card program.
Ron and Penny D., residents of Laguna Niguel, California, wrote: “Loved the small European feel to the hotel—very comfortable. Everyone was wonderful. Your attention to detail was wonderful. Very enjoyable stay. A very pleasant surprise.”
Michael H. of Granada Hills, Calif., says: “We’ve stayed at the property three previous times and have nothing but good things to say about the friendly staff and the rooms. I’d rather stay here then the Ritz-Carlton. I love this hotel! Feels like home. The property is clean and we feel safe when we’ve stayed in the past. Have our fourth stay tomorrow July 9th and we are really looking forward to it. The community is quaint, just like The Rose.”
Diann W. from Phoenix had a 5-star experience at The Rose: “I love this hotel. I stay at 5-star luxury hotels and this hotel can be compared with NYC St. Regis and Peninsula! I was delightfully surprised at the elegance and ambiance! The staff is friendly, accommodating and service oriented! The location is convenient to many fine restaurants that you can walk to, however, I warn be careful about pedestrian street crossings ... the police will give you a ticket if you do not properly cross the street! I witnessed three innocent guests of the hotel get tickets for not crossing at the crosswalk! Geez ... what’s up with that? I was just about one of them! Anyhow ... experience this property and I assure you it will be a delightful experience! Make sure you have a glass of wine at the bar and be sure to say hello to Johnny ... a great bartender ... who will never forget your name!”
Tony P. of Viera, Florida, summed things up in eight words: “This property and staff deliver World Class experience!”
Canadians Jean and Paul T. of Guelph, Ontario, wrote: “Your attention to detail is outstanding. The fresh rose in our room is such a nice touch. Thanks for accommodating us!”

Lorenz and Melissa L., Reno, Nevada, wrote: “Very nice, romantic hotel. Will come back.”
Fellow Nevadan Kathy K. of Las Vegas put an exclamation point on it: “This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in! Everyone was wonderful. I was impressed by your website but the photos didn’t begin to do justice to your beautiful hotel. Wow!”
Kathy H., who came to The Rose Hotel by way of Wichita Falls, Texas, observed the following: “The amenities were exceptional. Employees couldn’t have been nicer. Room was perfect!”
Pamela and Edward came from Lakeside, California: “We won a two-night stay at The Rose from SiriusXM radio and were blown away at the sheer beauty of the hotel and all its luxury. We loved our room and the organic products provided. The morning breakfast was top of the line in anyone’s book. We would highly recommend The Rose to anyone who is looking for a beautiful hotel in a beautiful town with all the amenities possible. Very satisfied.”
