Heineken team inaugurates Rose Hotel boardroom
Our expanded boardroom facility at The Rose Hotel got its first workout when 20 members of the HeinekenUSA sales and marketing team held their quarterly meeting here.
The first day of the two-day gathering included lunch provided by Checkers Catering of Livermore. Day one’s meeting was followed by a Heineken brand tasting seminar in The Rose Hotel lobby bar, and was concluded with dinner at nearby Barone’s, followed by a stop at Oasis for a few pints of Newcastle Brown Ale.
The brands represented by our visitors include Heineken Lager, Heineken Premium Light, Amstel Light, Newcastle Brown Ale and Dos Equis. They are responsible for marketing those beers throughout Central and Northern California.
Some team members checked in as guests at The Rose while others are local residents.
Chris Brown, pacific zone director for HeinekenUSA and the meeting’s organizer, said: “We selected The Rose Hotel for our quarterly meetings due to its downtown location within walking distance of fine restaurants and lounges, and for the knowledgeable and friendly staff.”
We’re looking forward to having the folks from HeinekenUSA back next quarter. In the meantime, we invite you to stop at our lobby bar for a cold Heineken. We’re selling them at a two-for-one price through Easter, April 24.
Heineken is one of the world’s biggest beer brands and has been brewed in Holland since 1864, though it is now made at 125 breweries in about 75 countries. In addition to Heineken beer, the Amsterdam-based company now represents around 200 international, regional, local and specialty beers.
And you can enjoy some of them in the comfort of The Rose Hotel lobby soon.
